FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What type of machine do you use?
All treatments are carried out with an AW3 Flash Combo Machine which uses ND Yag Q Switched and IPL Technology. The ND Yag handle is used for tattoo removal, permanent make up removal, birthmark and freckle reduction. With the IPL handle being used for hair removal, skin rejuvenation, thread vein removal and anti-ageing treatments.
How do you ensure customer safety?
Every step is taken to ensure the best customer experience. The premises have been fully checked and approved by a Laser Protection Adviser, safety googles are used by the Technician and client at all times and full consultations and test patches are carried out for all new clients. There is also an automatic cut off on the machine if any faults are detected.
Can anyone be treated?
Due to new and improved technology, all skin types can be treated for all procedures (aside from thread vein removal/reduction, please see that area for more detail), providing clients are not being treated for any of the mitigating illnesses (these will be explained to you during the consultation).
Any client however must not have had high sun exposure 30 days prior to or planned for 30 days following treatments as this can give a risk of burning, blistering or permanent skin discolouration. This includes sunbeds and fake tan treatments.
Is there any aftercare advice for treatments?
Full aftercare advice and any pre-treatment information will be given at the consultation.
